Before Booking

What can you do before your procedure to maximize results

Consultation: Schedule a consultation with the artist (that's me) to discuss your desired brow shape, color, and any questions/concerns you might have.

Do Your Homework: It's always advisable to research and gather information before you have any procedure. Due to the nature of this work, no artist will guarantee results because everyone's body chemistry is unique. This is a semi-permanent process. It IS inside the skin & once there it doesn't "wipe off", though it will fade in time. Faded residue traces could linger for many years. Touch ups (probably every few years) is strongly suggested to keep your PMU color looking fresh.  Frequence, color retention, and personal preferences vary from person to person. I recommend a consultation to discuss details in person.

Avoid Certain Medications and Supplements: Refrain from taking aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, or vitamin E at least a week before the procedure, as these can thin your blood and affect healing.

Do Not Wax or Tweeze: Avoid waxing or tweezing your eyebrows or lip area at least a week before your appointment to ensure there's enough hair for the artist to work with.

Skip Facials & Chemical Peels & Botox: Do not have any facial treatments, chemical peels, or laser treatments at least two weeks before your PMU session. This also includes lip fillers or lip hydration procedures.

Limit Sun Exposure: Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning 5 days before the procedure, as sunburned skin can be more sensitive.

Avoid Alcohol and Caffeine: Refrain from consuming alcohol and caffeine 24 hours before your appointment to reduce the risk of bleeding and improve pigment retention.

Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water leading up to your appointment to keep your skin hydrated.

Moisturize Lips: The softer the lips the better the results. I recommend 1-2 weeks prior to procedure to exfoliate lips with a sugar scrub & keep lips moisturized at all times going forward. My favorite product to recommend for this is Mary Kay's Satin Lips set.  â€‹

Get a Good Night's Sleep: Ensure you are well-rested before your session to help with the procedure and healing process.

Discuss Medical Conditions: Inform your artist of any medical conditions, allergies, or skin concerns you have.
